Kershaw County School District (“KCSD”) is providing notice of an incident that may have involved certain individuals’ personal information. We are providing information about the incident, our response, and resources available to individuals to help protect their information, should they feel that it is appropriate to do so.

Members of the WTC Kershaw County FFA Chapter traveled to Piedmont Technical College to compete in the State Veterinary Science Career Development Event on November 16, 2024.

The Kershaw County School District (KCSD) is hosting a Teacher Career Fair on Saturday, October 26, from 9 a.m. to noon at Camden Elementary School. Current and future educators are encouraged to attend and learn about exciting opportunities within the district.

After careful consultation with local emergency management officials and after visiting each of its schools, Kershaw County School District has made the decision to open all schools and offices on a two-hour delay on Monday, September 30. This means school start times are two hours later than normal. School bus riders should report to their bus stops two hours later than their usual times.
All Kershaw County School District schools will shift to e-Learning on Friday, September 27, due to the forecast for heavy winds and possible severe weather conditions due to Hurricane Helene. All school buildings and offices will be closed on Friday. This includes after school childcare programs. Weather conditions are expected to clear by Friday afternoon, allowing extracurricular activities to move forward as scheduled after 3 p.m. unless otherwise noted by the school.
