School Counseling

I am the school counselor at the Woolard Technology Center. After serving as a school counselor at Lugoff-Elgin High School for five years, I made a career move to Woolard Technology Center. This is my ninth year serving the students in the Career and Technology Education fields at WTC. My goal is to counsel and advocate for students, helping break down barriers to being successful in their academics, career and college development, and their personal and social lives.

I assist students with class selections and scheduling, goal setting, organization, time management, post-secondary education planning, exploring careers, field trips, college tours, college and financial aid information, scholarship essays, resumes and interviewing techniques. If a student is experiencing a mental health issue, I am available for counseling. School-based therapeutic mental health counseling services are available in the district as well. To make an appointment, students should inform their teacher and ask for permission to come to the school counseling office.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Albright College and then completed a Masters of Education in Secondary School Counseling from Kutztown University. I coach the cross country team at Camden High School. My amazing wife is a social studies teacher at Camden Middle School. We have three young children.
